Service4Charger and HIH Real Estate Enter Strategic Partnership for up to 25,000 Charging Points \u2013 Setting New Standards for Property Electrification in Germany<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h2>

Framework Agreement Signed for Entire Portfolio \u2013 Smart, Compliant, and Scalable Charging Infrastructure as an ESG Building Block for the Real Estate Sector <\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h3>

Berlin, 05.08.2025<\/span><\/b>– Service4Charger, the leading full-service provider for charging infrastructure, has entered into a strategic partnership with the HIH Real Estate Group. The collaboration was initiated through <\/span>eternigy, the HIH Group\u2019s subsidiary specialized in charging infrastructure. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

The long-term goal of the partnership is to electrify up to 25,000 parking spaces across Germany by 2030. The foundation is a framework agreement covering the entire real estate portfolio managed by the nationwide asset and property manager. As part of this cooperation, Service4Charger will serve as the preferred partner for AC charging infrastructure in all HIH properties. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

With this partnership, Service4Charger positions itself as a key implementation partner for the real estate industry, reinforcing its role as a scalable infrastructure partner for office and commercial properties.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

At launch, Service4Charger will take over ten already electrified properties from the HIH Group\u2019s portfolio, encompassing a total of 197 parking spaces and 87 charging points in operation. It will act as the charge point operator (CPO) \u2013 including billing, contract management, maintenance, and service. An additional 26 sites with over 3,600 parking spaces are currently under evaluation. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Regulatory requirements for charging infrastructure are increasing \u2013 from GEIG and WEMoG to EPBD and CSRD. The revised EU directive on the energy performance of buildings (EPBD) places particular focus on existing buildings: non-residential buildings with more than 20 parking spaces must provide or prepare charging infrastructure by January 2027. The partnership between Service4Charger and HIH Real Estate is a direct response to this shift and sets new standards for the real estate sector. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>
